Review: Back button works on FireTV Stick, down to one remote!! - We have had the Inteset remotes for years, and love them! We decided to get FireTV Sticks because they work better for desertcart Prime Video and NetFlix than our Smart TVs. But, we were disappointed that the Firestick remotws are not IR, so universal remotes can't control all of the choices. I don't understand why the IR remotes can control up down and play, but they definitely don't work for back, which is essential to be able to replace the firestick remote. This IR device allows full control and complete replacement of the firestick remote, including the back button! We like to have 2 remotes, one for me, one for my hubby, so we got the new IR adapter and remote together. First world problems solved!

It was not intuitive and I struggled to easily move between inputs (cable, Firestick and DVD). The instructions were easy to follow as far as setting it up, but not how to use it once the configurations were complete. I could not find a customer service phone number, and the help forums were all dead links. I had to return this item.

We have had the Inteset remotes for years, and love them! We decided to get FireTV Sticks because they work better for Amazon Prime Video and NetFlix than our Smart TVs. But, we were disappointed that the Firestick remotws are not IR, so universal remotes can't control all of the choices. I don't understand why the IR remotes can control up down and play, but they definitely don't work for back, which is essential to be able to replace the firestick remote. This IR device allows full control and complete replacement of the firestick remote, including the back button!
