Assembly is a bit of a struggle for someone without upper body strength and the material is slightly heavier than a premade solid hoola hoop but it works brilliantly. It says it can be made smaller than the 6 segments; however, the curvature in the segments makes creating a smaller hoop more challenging. DISASSEMBLY: If you bought this thinking about how easy it would be to store this, i will let you know, disassembly is just as challenging- if not more challenging- as assembling. You have to be mindful of the material when disassembling, as it is a moderately firm plastic. Softer than a squirt gun, think of it more like a super soaker chamber, if you manipulate the material too much, it splits at its seems. So be careful with applying too much weight or pressure when you disassemble- probably just better to keep it assembled. USE: Simple, typical. Kids will love it, although they might not like the color scheme.
