The diaphragm level sensor eliminates any issues with a traditional style float. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Usually good for about 6 or 7 years *by J***M on February 25, 2013* We use two of these to keep our basement dry... one also piggybacks for the A/C condensate pump.. and heater humidifier overflow pump... the work off and on.. 1000's of times... sometimes so much that it scares me to think how much water we'd have in our basement if we didn't have them.. especailly during Sandy and some other storms we've had... after about 6 or 7 years.. the pressure switch invariably get funky.. either the pumps runs and won't shut down... or it won't run at all... at that point..
