**Q: D2 steel?**
A: Even DeWalt doesn't specify.  But the blade holds up well.  I'm a contractor.  The knife is a bit heavy for it's job, but it takes a good beating and sharpens well.  You should know that opening the knife has two steps.  There's a lock on the spring.

**Q: Does this knife have storage for extra blades?**
A: The picture is wrong. It is a fixed blade knife not an utility knife.

**Q: Is there a pocket clip to hold in place?**
A: Yes

**Q: My knife wont close. How do you close it?**
A: There is a metal tab blocking the knife from folding (A SAFETY FEATURE).  Press it away from the center to release the blade for folding.
