When fully extended, the booms are about four-feet wide. The tank holds water so the sprayer can really work, but we haven't tried it yet - waiting for warmer weather so we can take it outside. The top of the cab is removable, revealing quite a bit of detail in the cab, including seat, side console, steering wheel, levers, buttons, and a computer monitor. If the Kids are young you do have to watch so they don't push on the wing spans, **Q: How do you get it to spray water? pumped and pumped but cannot get water** A: My son just received this as a birthday gift. It didn't work. After some troubleshooting, the lever that opens and closes the valve to release the water is broken. The valve post turns really hard, and I think that is breaking the plastic lever. (It split the rounded portion of the lever that mates to the valve post.) If I take the lever off and turn the valve with pliers, everything works. I haven't found anyone selling replacement levers yet. I tried gluing it back together, but it broke again.
