What is the equivalent size in your scale?** A: my size is 57cm / 7: 5 inches. **Q: how does the cap badge fit** A: Essentially, there are two methods/types. These are: "Standard issue infantry/low-rank NCO" type- which essentially is like a safety pin mechanism. There is also the "NCO/Officer" type, which is essentially a 'slot-in' type of badge. To attach the 'safety pin' type, essentially, as you would with a safety pin, attaching the reinforcing/backing plate to it- no hassle. However, these berets are more designed for the 'officer/NCO' type, which you'll see a vertical-rectangle on the cap itself- essentially create a hold/slot in the top, and 'slot-in' the badge. Securing accordingly with adjusting the metal slip. Done and dusted, fairly easy. For further instructions/diagrams make reference to "Beret badge attachment"- which I'm sure a simple search may warrant some additional understanding. **Q: What size advice for a lady** A: Essentially the same. Get yourself a measuring-tape and measure your head size/circumference in CM. I personally would advise going 1 or 2 sizes up to cater for shrinkage when shaping the beret.
