Review: My fur baby has no interest in my electric blanket now he’s got this - As the days are colder my dog loves laying down on the sofa with me on my electric blanket. I was however worried that he’d be cold at night in his bed. I got this heating pad thinking that my fur baby would be delighted with it, but sadly his initial response was not great. I’m not sure if was because it wasn’t soft and sounds a bit scratchy under foot so he has stayed away from it up until today over 2 weeks later! I had to put it at the end of the sofa and cover him with my blanket so he felt safe and guess what!! He hasn’t moved off it all night so that’s a result. The pad is great and has a really thick ( stainless steel coating) chew proof and longish cord if your worried about your animal having a go at it. My dog is a small Yorkie so size wise it’s perfect. I will be putting it in his donut tonight and am sure he won’t try and get on my bed tonight. I had my feet on it and it’s more than warm enough, but does not have a temperature control which I would have liked so it’s a constant set 96-110F and has a built in thermostat to prevent overheating and fire. Review: purrfect for our kitties - Got this for the cats - our little black and white one has issues with her hips which are made worse by the cold weather and the others are getting older and like to cwtch in the warm. Size - big enough for 2 kitties to snooze on together or 1 kitty to sprawl out on. Quality - good quality - impressed with the cable which is very thick and well made, pad cover is sturdy but soft and comfy to lay directly on Heat - I had the pad on against my back for well over an hour to test out the heat and found it got warm but not overly hot, once it reached a specific temperature the heat automatically switched off, before turning back on again when it had cooled. **Q: Is it safe to put this on an armchair? My cat likes to aleep on a specific chair, but where it is gets very cold in winter.**
A: Hi, yes.  Provided the chair is big enough for the pad to fit.  My girl has hers on one end of the sofa and woe betide anyone who thinks they might move it to sit down themselves. 

I cover the pad and provided cover with her fleecy blanket and she's toasty day and night.  At 21 she deserves to be warm.  She loves it.  I have a spare just in case...

A: it costs about £3.50 a month if left on all the time.

A: Depends what kind of small animal you mean I suppose. It's quite warm and my cats love it but they move after a while.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lost my cat to a heatpad!

Got this as a Christmas present for my cat, it's getting cold and he started clinging to me for cuddles which is lovely but not very practical and as cute as he is it was becoming a little bit annoying! Ordered this couple of days before Christmas and it arrived next day. Unboxed it and put it on his stool, I could feel the pad warming up and was so excited that it a) Worked b) Worked so easily and quickly c) Looks easy to clean. Sadly my cat didn't understand what it was so ignored it. Thought I'd made a mistake buying it but then tried putting treats on the pad to entice him to at least sit on it. Thankfully the treats worked and now I've lost my cat and have to remind him I'm here for cuddles if he wants them! Pros: It works really well my cat is so content and cosy. I've got my personal space back and can visit the bathroom or answer the door without hostage style negotiations. Cons: Kind of missing all of the cuddles.
