The ingredients never expire. Just like bottled water, they have to put a date, but it doesn't mean anything. I am still working on a box of Margarita Bloks from 2012 and no issues. I only use them on marathon runs, which are pretty rare for me. As others have said, they are a little harder. IMO they still taste good and still get the job done. **Q: Are there just nine chews in the nine chew pack?** A: There are six chews in each pack. I assume that if it says nine it means nine packs of six. In the case of this item description I would assume it includes 18 sleeves of six chews. **Q: Is this vegan?** A: This product does not contain any animal-derived ingredients and can fit in a plant-based diet. If you have further questions, feel free to contact our Consumer Care team at 1-800-CLIFBAR. **Q: Are these actually from 2009?** A: I think that's when clif started manufacturing shot bloks. The package you order will be manufactured more recently. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely great but Not at this price!! *by on Reviewed in the United States 18 July 2026* Delicious, effective, and absolutely a nonstarter/ no f’ing way, at $47 now vs the order in Feb of this year at $30.Who the f hit the “MAX inflation” button?? ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Marathon training approved *by on Reviewed in Canada 2 August 2022* I’ve tried various fuelling options and while a little pricier, way better than jelly or gels. I have a sensitive stomach and they don’t cause upset. Highly recommend for Long run days or speed training after a long day of work. Perfect energy source ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Altissima qualità *by on Reviewed in Italy 10 September 2021* Clif Bar è un prodotto di altissima qualità, ed inoltre molto gradevole, per chi fa sport di Endurance ## Frequently Bought Together - CLIF BLOKS - Strawberry Flavor - Energy Chews - Non-GMO - Plant Based - Fast Fuel for Cycling and Running - Quick Carbohydrates and Electrolytes - 2.12 oz.
