The Soundburger fits snugly (but not too tight) in the bottom half of the case, and the case is tall enough that there is plenty of clearance for the cords to fit in the velcro-closure mesh divider built into the top half, without pushing on the Sound Burger when the case is closed. The case is well constructed from a fairly rigid polyvinyl material, with a fabric-like feel on the outside. It protects my record player from dust and damage. It is sturdy - I feel very confident that it protects my scanner- and fits all of the cords that come with the scanner, along with the scanner itself. It does, however, have a pretty weird smell when it first comes out of the package. It takes a while for this funky smell to go away, but eventually it does.
