It is QUIET and can give a nice long run time if you have a lot to shred. It does fill up the container quickly but it was what I was expecting and I use the shredded paper for my guinea pigs bedding and it works great. I tested the limit a few times and the machine did not sound strained at all, it is pricey but I think I will be using this for years and it is far better than going through a lot of the cheaper units and putting up with the noise those things put out. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars What a great deal!
