Highly recommend
I adore this basket for produce and even some of my antique kitchen decor. It's a metal material with a bronze tone. Lightweight but sturdy and easy to put together. I think I'm going to buy my mother-in-law one for mothers day and fill it with some herbs, kitchen soaps, etc. Would definitely recommend.Update: I made my MIL and grandmother gifts for mother's day with herbs in the cutest white pots and a little picture i printed and modged onto canvas board and they loved it.

Great for some vertical storage ...
I am a little short on horizontal space in my kitchen and thought this would solve some of my fruit and veggie storage issues ... and it does. It is attractive in my somewhat rustic kitchen, it holds quite a few pieces of fruit and vegetables. It went together very easily in about 2 minutes. My only issue is that the center support is a little bit thin and when I was putting it together I just thought it seemed a bit flimsy. HOWEVER.... it seems to be working fine, it has not tipped or wobbled and it isn't like I am using it for lead ingots...it is absolutely fine for apples and eggplant!

Perfect size and Holds a Lot
I love these 2 tier baskets! I don't have a lot of counter space but I always have a lot of produce all year long and a lot of fresh fruit in the summer. I purchased 2 of these simply because I wanted to be able to store 10 lbs of potatoes as well as all the other produce/fruit and wasn't sure if one would hold all the potatoes. It does! I love having 2 of these. I did a lot of research before buying these, I was actually looking for a 3 tiered one but those were too tall to fit under the wall cupboards. These are perfect. Sturdy, sturdy, sturdy and...because I often have small cloves of garlic, some of the baskets are constructed where I think they could fall through the slots. Not these! LOVE these! Worth every penny!
