I have owned many different style headlamps, and this one is by far the most expensive, but well worth it. It is brighter than most, is dimmable, and is very lightweight for the light output. Also, rechargeable, and you can also swap out the battery pack and use 3 AAA batteries if need be. You can also focus the beam too. Perfect headlamp. The reason for 4 stars rather than 5 stars---- the micro usb port used to re-charge the headlamp gets loose, and then you cannot re-charge it. I disassembled the unit, and tightened up the port, so it works now.
