Review: Perfect fit on a 2g prius - I recently installed the Metra 95-8240B dash kit in my 2007 Prius and overall I’m pretty happy with it. The fit is actually really good once everything is lined up properly, and it gives the double DIN stereo a clean, almost factory look. The matte black finish matches the interior better than I expected, not 100% perfect but close enough that you don’t really notice. Install took a bit of time tho. The instructions are kinda basic and I had to look up a video to be sure I wasn’t messing anything up. Some of the clips felt a little flimsy at first, but once its all secured it holds pretty solid. Just take your time and don’t force anything or you might crack somthing. One small downside is there were tiny gaps on the sides after install, nothing major but if your picky about details you’ll probly notice it. Also the plastic doesn’t feel super premium, but for the price it’s honestly fine. Overall, good value and does what it’s supposed to do. Not perfect, but definetly worth it if your upgrading your Prius stereo. I’d recomend it 👍
Review: It fit - It fit fine, it’s a softer plastic, so it has some give if you need to slightly adjust it. I did have to work with it if you want it to look perfect. When it fit into the “clips” as you push it in, sometimes one side would be lower than another,, so I’d fold up little pieces of paper, stick them in the radio “female” side to tighten up the fit. That allowed me to finetume the height of the fascia.

I recently installed the Metra 95-8240B dash kit in my 2007 Prius and overall I’m pretty happy with it. The fit is actually really good once everything is lined up properly, and it gives the double DIN stereo a clean, almost factory look.
