They are worth the price. **Q: When installing to this bulb, what modifications do you have to make to the light fixture? Rewire? Remove Ballast?** A: You just need to remove the ballast, its the only thing you need to do. **Q: So I guess the tube is NOT glass? How long before it yellows out?** A: Yes, it is plastic. Never have to change another expensive ballast.
