Decorative Grid Tape is an excellent way to add that finishing touch to your drop ceiling installation. It is made from 0.013 in. thick vinyl plastic, and is flexible and lightweight for easy installation. Self-adhesive and easy to trim with household scissors, Decorative Grid Tape will make your T-bar grid disappear, leaving nothing to detract from your new, custom ceiling! When installing, make sure that the face of your suspended ceiling grid is dry and free of dust, oils, and contaminants. Decorative Grid Tape is not suitable for covering the joints between ceiling tiles in direct mount (glue or staple-up) installations. I was a bit hesitant based off the three stars this product had and the reviews saying the tape doesn't stick. I made sure to follow the instructions and wiped off the grid with alcohol first to clean it then applied the tape. It stuck so well! It was actually hard to pull off. I just bought two more of these rolls! Follow the instructions and you won't have a problem with the tape being adhesive enough! :)
