I love how they feel…though rigid, other reviews say they soften in time. They were very comfortable right out of the box. I ordered an 8 as I’m usually an 8.5 and while they fit well, they are a little snug and just barely work in length. They are euro size 38, and I typically wear 39. I do wish I’d paid more attention to that before ordering but they are comfortable. While I have not owned Oofos, they were recommended by a friend and I’ve tried them on twice in the store. I found them too squishy and wouldn’t risk sliding in wet conditions as other reviewers noted. They also have a rocker type feel which I did not find comfortable. **Q: I got a rash from the top straps on both feet, not sure why. Has anyone else had this problem with this product?** A: I also got a rash with blisters on the tops of both my feet under the straps. It took 3 months for the rashes to go away. The rashes are in the perfect shape of the flip flop straps. My doctor confirmed it had to do with the flip flops and suggested that I soak the straps with vinegar, then wash them. It is a little better, but the tops of my feet still get really irritated when I wear them. The flip flops were really comfortable, but I guess I spent $60 on two pair that I'll never get to wear again. **Q: I'm usually an 71/2 8 shoe. What is the best size for me? I've tried everything but I still have constant heel pain. I'm sick of wearing tennis shoes, especially now that it's 100 degrees here for summer. So I decided to give these a try. First of all they do run small. I normally wear a 7.5 in most shoes. Sometimes for flip flops I buy a 7. I read reviews and decided to size up to an 8. I'm so glad I did. They fit perfectly, but snug. I have short toes, so if my toes were longer they would probably hang off the shoe. I don't have any extra room and I can see how people with wider feet may be unhappy with these. I really thought these would be really cushioned, especially in the heel area. They are slightly cushioned and somewhat heavier than I expected. When my heel is really hurting I can't wear these. It feels like walking on a brick. But, if I won't be doing much walking or standing these are great to wear. They are way more comfortable than cheap, flat flip flops. They offer great arch support! If I didn't have plantar fasciitis I'd wear them all summer. For now I'll have to just wear these on special occasions and wear my tennis shoes most of the time. All in all, I was expecting a cushioned lightweight shoe but these aren't that. I still love them and love the arch support. I love the black flip flop with black glitter on the strap to dress up my outfits a little. I really don't have many options with plantar fasciitis.
