The taste, texture, whey protein mix, sweetness, has all been perfected. No artificial coloring that I am aware of, we get enough of those elsewhere. They are a legitimate wafer bar. Not the typical fiber chewy ones. I love all flavors of this bar, they sweet taste is not fake and they are quick and easy to eat. However, they are NOT filling so you may be tempted to eat another, but in that case just mix some protein powder and you're all filled up. They are best used for a night snack or dessert. And the quality whey protein is superb. It's just like a shake except add an additional 9g of fat, 4 sugar, 7 carbs. I am 10% body fat and these fit my diet nicely, 2 a day or so keeps me going between meals and after. Best flavor, probably the peanut ones, but it is good to mix up your variety as to not get bored. None I have had are gross or funny tasting. All taste real. Buy them under $20 and they are a good deal.
