Excellent design and construction. So smart of them to make the bottom button a snap; it’s a long coat and the final button falls around mid-thigh, the first time I wore it I was walking the dog and had to bend down to pick up his business. I was conscious of the fact that the coat was pulling where my legs bent and I was thinking I should reinforce the buttons when suddenly the snap came free. So smart. If that fastener had been a button I would have to worry about it pulling off and getting lost, but its breakaway snap solved the issue before it was an issue. All the other fasteners are regular buttons but they are above the legs and are well sewn. Odd sizing *by C***. on Reviewed in the United States on May 2, 2023* I want to love this coat but the sizing is a bit weird I got the 1X petite based on reviews and I think it was the right choice as I am 5'3 and fairly busty with wide hips, about 230 lbs, size 16/18. I could have possibly sized down to an XL, but I feel like the arms are a bit short and that may make it worse. The outside pockets are in a weirdly low position, like rather than being on my hips they seem to sit at my crotch area. I can't comfortably just rest my hands in my pockets because they seem so far down; a few of the buttons are also a bit loose. I honestly want to keep it but I'd need to get it altered and after spending $200 on the coat I don't want to spend more money to get it fitted to my liking. I also wish there was a belt to cinch the waist.
