Review: Great quality, depends your respect - I am quite happy with this dart, it has a great weight and shape to it. But I would not suggest the heavy diamond for beginners, it could do some serious damage if you mess up. As my 4th dart it is a great step up from the tiger claw one I practiced on. The rope is a nice thickness but still smooth enough to slide easily. Worth the price but requires caution.

**Q: I bought this back in april of this year(rhombus) but unfortunately i need to replace the rope. does anyone know what rope and size they used?**

**Q: Would this be an alright option for a beginner?**
A: Honestly I suggest a monkey fist or fishing weight linked to 15 feet of rope. 
If you are dedicated then for sure get it. But roe dart techniques can be learnt with almost any low weight and a length of rope

**Q: Are these dulled?**
A: Yes they are dulled but still have a rounded point

**Q: Is there something included to cover the dart with for newbies?**
A: No.
You way want to look into “nerf” options.
I.e.  tennis ball or the like.

I am quite happy with this dart, it has a great weight and shape to it. But I would not suggest the heavy diamond for beginners, it could do some serious damage if you mess up. I absolutely love this rope dart. The steel dart is the exact right weight - it makes me aware that it's at the end of the rope, but doesn't make me fight to use it. I swapped out the rope to a man-made fiber because my hands were getting irritated, but my friend is using the rope it came with without any issues at all. I'm likely to get a fire dart at some point, but this has been working very well for the last month to get me used to the flow of the rope in general.
