They draw much more power than modern keyboards do.** A: Works flawlessly with my 1984 IBM Model M clicky. It has a PS/2 cable that plugs directly into this adapter (not the large DIN plug). **Q: Is This an active converter and not a Passive physical adapter which requires that the devices can speak both languages?** A: It would have to be active. Drawing current from the USB port. It “speaks” both USB and PS/2 **Q: Is this an active or passive adapter** A: itz active, you plug it in and itz live...works great ! **Q: Will this work with an Xbox?** A: I don't know if it would work with an Xbox. Sorry.
