I'd stuff coarse, this floss, matrix and then purigen in the cans and replace this floss every couple month. **Q: Would this work for outside pillows?** A: I would say yes since the project it's stuffed with can be laundered and either air dried or fluff cycle in the dryer. If it's out in the elements, I just wouldn't let it sit around wet for awhile. Move it somewhere to dry. Hope this is helpful.
