**Q: Your product dimensions specify 6.6 x 6.6 x 7.8 inches how is this possible with a 36" wide roll? please fix listing with proper dimensions and sq ft**
A: The roll i get is 3’ x 33’

**Q: once P&S applied on roof, do i need to apply a roof sealant such as siliconizer for extra protection or P&S good enough?**
A: Peel & Seal should be good enough in general.  I applied it to a flat RV roof, and it worked great for many years.  I sold the trailer last year, so can only vouch for 5 years of durability.  The only issue I had were with the overlapping seams losing their adhesive seal.  I simply went over it with a heat gun to melt the polymers again, running a rag over to smooth it and reseal it.   It probably wouldn't hurt to apply a sealer on top if it, but I don't think it is necessary.  P&S has about 5 layers of foil and polymers with tar that make it pretty tough and a strong barrier to punctures and leaks.

**Q: How long is the 36" wide roll ?**
A: the roll is 36" wide and approximately 33 feet long.

**Q: I have a tar and gravel roof.  Could I remove the loose stones and apply this on top of that surface?**
A: No, roof must be smooth and clean.  I had to remove rocks and all the old asphalt down to the deck.  Base layer then use this as the top layer.

This Silver MFM Peal and Seal worked very well for me on my stick built, 10x12 foot Shed, in the Phoenix, Arizona area. I've never installed peal and stick before and I did it by myself. Before installing it, I ground all the OSB imperfections sticking up, down. Then I swept and vacuumed and then blew the roof off with compressed air. I soaked a rag in acetone and wiped the entire top side of the metal drip edging with it, removing any finger prints. Because the OSB requires an 1/8" gap between sheets, I covered each gap with Butyl tape to prevent the peal and seal from being pinched by expansion and contraction. I rolled the peal and seal out with 3 inches at each end and 1 1/2 inches longways over the drip rail. I cut it to length and then rolled the peal and seal back to the halfway area and carefully cut the wax paper without cutting the peal and seal. On my hands and knees, I pulled the wax paper back and rolled it up with both hands exposing the black roofing material. Then I carefully rolled the roll of peal and seal forward 6 inches at a time, while still rolling up the wax paper. I was careful to maintain a straight line because once it sticks there's no pulling it up. The instructions say to have a 3 inch overlap on each layer as you move up the roof. I did a 6 inch overlap because my roof has only a 1/4" slope to a foot. It took me 3 days to do a 16 by 14 foot roof. I'm 78 and my knees and back aint what they used to be, besides it gets hot after 9 am in the Phoenix area in April. In July I went to test the shed roof with a digital thermometer to see the temperature effects inside my shed. WOW! The outside temp at 1 pm was 106 F, the dirt temp in the sun was 148 F. Inside the shed OSB roof with the peal and seal just above it was 115 F. The shed's brick floor was 98 degrees! What a huge difference! After the temperature check I climbed up on the roof and looked for any imperfections with the peal and seal and found only one bubble that I was able to step on and flatten. This is a product that I can personally recommend. There is no underlayment required, it sticks where you put it, it's easy to install, and Boy does it reflect the heat. Greg 7/7/2026
