Review: This should get 90% reviews. - Q&A review Why is there bad reviews for this product when the product aims it's design to provide comfort? Answer: This product is based off of a bond relationship that is dependent on how the dog builds relationships. If the dog is a pup and new, for me it was easier for the process to occur. I'd assume that for older dogs, it depends on what the ease of building a bond is for them. If the dog has been abused before it was rescued then I'd assume it develops bonds cautiously. If the dog has recently experienced a great change like transitioning from owners, then expect your dog to ease into the bond at its own pace. It will be expensive at first (of the dogs ease is slow) because the heat packs can come off as expensive. So the bad reviews came from dog owners that didn't feel comfortable with how long their best friends took to develop the bond. Awesome product once you see the dog bond with it. It took less than a month to leave my dog home without the anxiety. Now he doesn't even look for it. He gets the feeling that being alone can be adventerous too with the right amount of confidence. Recommendations: Buy a lot of heat packs. Like always be patient. Do not fear the dogs tensions and accept that the barks will be annoying and troublesome at times. Hopefully you live in a house and people will understand the poor creatures struggle. Also don't care about your poor neighbors if you live in apartments. If they aren't good neighbors and can't understand your dogs struggle, then at least you paid your pet fee which gives you the right to keep the dog home. ## Features - Replacement heat pack refills (12 ct): Stock up and save with 12 replacement heat packs designed to work with Original Snuggle Puppy, Snuggle Puppy Junior (for Small Breeds), and Snuggle Kitty comfort toys. I put the heat pack inside of a Snuggle Puppy stuffed animal so that the heat pack was NOT directly in contact with my puppy. The heat pack worked very well inside of the stuffed animal. I used them every night until my puppy was about two months old. (This was during the winter.) **Q: How are these any different than a hand warmer?** A: The warming packs are very similar. Technically I don’t know the difference. I’m not sure how warm the hand warmers are but these don’t get real hot. Because our puppy came home to us in January and was only about 7 weeks old. I used them for a few weeks in his comfort dog. Then I stopped using them, used just the dog with the little heartbeat mechanism for another month. Sparky whines for 15 minutes the first night and has not whined again. He now plays with the dog almost daily- it’s one of his favorite toys. **Q: Hi can I put the heat packs in my dryer on high instead of a microwave oven? If so, for how long and what temperature setting would work best? Thanks!** A: Good afternoon Beth,Please do not put the disposable heat packs in your dryer. That would ruin your dryer. As for the renewable heat source, it is only recommended to microwave them and for no longer then 30 second intervals at a time. And the cloth bag provided has a draw string closure, so having that tumble in the dryer would open it and make a mess. How else may I help?Kelli M- Operations Manager **Q: Can i use just the heartbeat?** A: Yes. You can use both or either/or. We got our puppy when it was still cool- cold at night and from the very first night, I used both. After almost three weeks, it was starting to get a little warmer and I quit using the heated packs. We used the heartbeat until our puppy figured out how to take the Velcro loose and get it out himself. Now he just has the dog. He only cried about 5 minutes the first night. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not a must have but definitely helps *by J***S on May 8, 2026* They make sleepytime so easy with the warmth and heartbeat. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This should get 90% reviews. *by L***A on December 11, 2017* Q&A review Why is there bad reviews for this product when the product aims it's design to provide comfort?
