I once was alerted that a case that can hold vape batteries is perfect for the typical 19mm diameter of these microphones. After several tries, I couldn't find anything soft and thin enough to carry short of a tool roll up. In searching in that area for a soft case, Lochby has a cult status with Everyday Carry Enthusiasts to carry emergency tools and safety aids. Looking Lochby's catalog, I noticed this case and how fountain pen enthusiasts praised this case for very large diameter fine fountain pen protection. Size is perfect for a 5.5" long microphones, maybe a bit more. It arrived today and no long term use is needed to prove it's worth. It chambers these mics easily in the 4 main soft,deep and plush gussets and zips up neatly with no problem up to the capsules with no proximity issues. Niche review, but I sure hope that someone finds this valuable. I have never found a solution to carry near $1k of these style microphones as most anything on the market favors larger diameter microphones. A mic manufacturer couldn't make better or compact. If you carry these in your field bag. buy this without hesitation. It's absolutely perfect. Fourty plus dollars is a pittance in this market for this level of compactness,value, and protetion. I hope that fellow field sound engineers find this burried in the reviews. Lochby rocks on this one. Maybe their field journal case may be next for my logs now that I know of them and the quality.
