Very durable and stable at a reasonable price! - These rings are great for checklists, although they may be small for kneeboards. For that, I recommend the 7" ones that I have also tried. Both are exceptionally great and sturdy. It's easy to release the rings if you want to transfer them or rearrange them but they stay intact and very stable once closed, as you can see from the photos. I love the stainless steel material - it doesn't only look durable, it's also very stylish and classy. The great thing is these are available at a very reasonable price and almost the same as nylon rings. I'm definitely pleased. My other pack has lasted a while and I'm expecting the same, which I don't doubt with this quality construction. This is a great investment, overall. ## Features - 1.59" INCH RING DIAMETER (5” long when unclasped) - Stainless Steel Core With Clear Polyurethane Coating - Time Tested: The Pilot Checklist Ring Used by the Military (prevents FOD) - Upgrade for Less: Don’t Settle for Thin Nylon Rings, Use Stainless Steel - Trusted: Manufactured by Aerobind, "The Checklist Supply Company" – Our Pilot Checklist Products Have Been Original Equipment for Over 30 Years! ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01L07666S | | Brand | Aerobind | | Color | Silver | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars (312) | | Date First Available | August 25, 2016 | | Item Weight | 0.16 ounces | | Item model number | FR-SSBWCPUBS-5i-5 | | Manufacturer | Aerobind Inc. | | Manufacturer Part Number | FR-SSBWCPUBS-5i-5 | | Material Type | Stainless Steel | | Product Dimensions | 2 x 2 x 1 inches | | Size | 5 | ## Images ![Aeroflex - 5" Steel Checklist Ring (Pack of 5) - 1.59" Diameter - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61jKef-Mr1L.jpg) ![Aeroflex - 5" Steel Checklist Ring (Pack of 5) - 1.59" Diameter - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/614GfpFd5WL.jpg) ![Aeroflex - 5" Steel Checklist Ring (Pack of 5) - 1.59" Diameter - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31gtF2QhCUL.jpg) ![Aeroflex - 5" Steel Checklist Ring (Pack of 5) - 1.59" Diameter - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71ExIYit++L.jpg) ![Aeroflex - 5" Steel Checklist Ring (Pack of 5) - 1.59" Diameter - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51jdbCqOIpL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great gear! *by M***K on November 29, 2025* Simple, reliable, and effective. Design allows pages to be flipped more smoothly than hinged metal rings which tend to catch the page protector holes and tear them. Easy to intentionally open, but stays closed in use. ## Frequently Bought Together - Aeroflex - 5" Steel Checklist Ring (Pack of 5) - 1.59" Diameter - FlyBoys - Checklist Pages - 8x5 inches - Durable & Temperature Resistant - Military Standard - Frosted Plastic Pages - 10 Pack - FlyBoys - Classic Kneeboard - For Professional Pilots - Durable Design - Clipboard, Tablet & Pen Holder - Flexible & Comfortable - Aviation & Flight Gear - Versatile For Checklists & More - Navy Blue --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/83114849-aeroflex-5-steel-checklist-ring-pack-of-5-1-59](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/83114849-aeroflex-5-steel-checklist-ring-pack-of-5-1-59) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
