**Q: Would it work on a dslr?**
A: No!  It only works on Sony mirrorless E-mount cameras.  Sony's DSLRs and DSLTs (all now discontinued) all took an A-mount lens, and there is no adapter that would let a E-mount lens fit on an A-mount DSLR or DSLT.

**Q: Is this for asp-c only? ie not for the a7 series**
A: It’s an APS-C lense, not full frame. However, I use it on my A7ii and a7Riii in crop mode. Works great, providing the same 24mm equivalent 36mm fov. It is a quality lense.

**Q: How does it perform on nonstabilized a6000 or a6300?**
A: its a 1.4 so lets in a lot of light, alllowing you to use higher shutter speeds, as a wide angle i use it in daylight so never needed stabilisation. it is an amazingly sharp, accurate lens you will be happy, it is my favorite lens with a a6000

**Q: Can i use this lens with Sony A6500?**
A: Hello, its an e-mount lens, so yes, it will work with the a6500.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Superb quality for price. Great Nighttime photography too.

This is a very good lens no doubt. More so for the price. I'm a photography enthusiast and all those pictures were taken with this lens on the Sony ZVE-10 within less than a month of my getting into photography. One big thing about this lens is that is unexpectedly very good in low light. Clearly, its very low aperture of f1.8 makes it collect much light and consequently have better nighttime performance but still, the images that this lens outputs at night are simply shockingly stunning. The only major challenge you can have with this at night is the dynamic range of your camera. I'm very big on bokeh and this lens does perform - albeit not well enough for me. The bokeh is quite decent if the object in focus is close enough (although for portraits, your subject can feel invaded because of the proximity that will be required to get the best bokeh). From my use, I found that it has very unnoticeable to no chromatic aberration in almost all situations & it has a fair bit of distortion but it's nothing that can't be easily fixed in post-production if you are shooting raw. The fact that it is a wide-angle lens means it's able to capture a lot at once as you can see in some of those nighttime pictures in a performance. That said, this is a very capable and fairly flexible lens. It can handle both wide-angle shots & night-time photography well with good results (although not the best) when taking portraits. Because I'm big on portraits and would be primarily using it with my camera to record a human subject, I decided to return this go for its other sibling - the Sigma 30mm. I can expect better bokeh and portrait shots from that with similar night performance although poorer chromatic aberration overall. Nonetheless, even with the shortcomings of this lens, it is still a very good one and most definitely a great value for its price.
