Review: Ruby is HAPPY and I am too! - We got our Cavapoo puppy, Ruby, in January, and she has been thriving on Nutri Source Small & Medium Breed Puppy food, specifically the Chicken Meal and Rice Recipe. The quality is excellent; she has great digestion, a soft coat, and healthy skin. The kibble size is small and perfect for her. My only complaint is that I can only find Nutri Source at Petland, not at HEB or Walmart, where I usually shop. However, ordering from desertcart makes it convenient and reasonably priced for delivery.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Where is this made and sourced from?**
A: This is a great question.  I do not know the answer - but my dog's breeder asked us to use this brand - as they felt it was the healthiest option.  Two years later - we still do

**Q: Why is meal the first ingredient when the first ingredient should be meat?**
A: Chicken meal is ground dehydrated chicken meat (both contain meat, skin, possibly some bone but exclude feathers, heads, feet and entrails).   Because it is lower in moisture, pound for pound, it contains a significant greater amount of protein.

**Q: Is this super tiny?  My Cavachon puppy will only eat really tiny kibbles.**
A: I feel your pain.. It is not teenie tiny but one of the smallest foods I can find.  There are some "toy" breed foods that are smaller but not the same quality.  I have fed this to all types tiny ones eat it just fine. I rescue hundreds of puppies every year and this is by far the best food I have ever found.

**Q: Is the first ingredient turkey or chicken?  The picture says turkey, your response to the ingredient question says chicken.**
A: It is chicken.

Bought a maltipoo pup and this is what they sent home with us. And it's great. He likes it, eats it and the best part is (so far) his poops have been firm and pretty much odor free. Which is a real plus when house training a new pup!!
