I have successfully injected a garlic, red wine and rosemary marinade into a roast lamb more than once, however as Jonathan correctly mentioned the needles can get clogged with thicker ingredients if they're not chopped finely enough. This is what happened the first time I tried garlic but it worked fine after I minced it finer. I normally use a mortar and pestle. The same applies for other solid ingredients such as onion. It's easy to tell when it's fine enough by whether or not you can push the pieces into the end of the open-ended needle.I hope this helps, let me know if you need any further assistance.Regards,GregPremiala Customer Support **Q: Can you inject dry rub mixed in a liquid with this injector?** A: I haven't tried this approach yet so I don't know for sure. I wouldn't try it with the smallest injection needle. I think dry rub work perfectly well with the larger needle as long a your mix is not to thick so there is plenty of lubricant. Also, if the larger needle got plugged up you could use 12 or 14 gauge electrical wire (stripped) and clean out the needle after disconnecting it from the barrel. Hope this helps. Tom **Q: Is there a warranty for this product?** A: Hi Susan,Yes absolutely! Out of the box, our meat injector comes with a 12 month warranty, but many customers choose the free upgrade to a lifetime warranty by registering their purchase in our VIP club. Instructions are inside the box.Best regards,Premiala **Q: this items says it ships for free with $35 order, yet when I put it in the cart, is does NOT read "elgible for free ship" under description, why?** A: Hi Mary Ann,Thanks for your question. That sounds like an issue with Amazon's cart system, it's not something we have control over. Please drop Amazon an email and I'm sure they'll be able to sort it out.Best regards,Premiala Customer Support. ## Frequently Bought Together - Premiala 304-Stainless Steel Meat Injector - With Marinade Straw! 4 Needles, Spare Orings, Ebook, Spares Available!
