Also it would be good to know other ingredients** A: Label reads : Ingredients: Lemon, Sunflower Oil, Salt, Mixed Spices, Acetic Acid, Citric Acid. Contains Mustard. **Q: How hot are they?** A: It's not really hot. More tart & tangy. I put it on sandwiches to kick them up a notch. **Q: Do the pickles need to be refrigerated after opening?** A: I believe they could be left out (my friend from India who introduced me to lemon pickle always does theirs), but I prefer to refrigerate mine. Very tasty however you choose to do it. ## Frequently Bought Together - Shan Lemon Pickle 35.27 oz (1000g) - Hot & Spicy Lemons in Oil - Rich Blends of Spices - Perfect Accompaniment to Everyday Meals - Suitable for Vegetarians - Airtight Pet Jar - Shan Mango Pickle 35.27 oz (1000g) - Tasty Brined Pickled in Oil - Rich Blends of Spices - Perfect Accompaniment to Everyday Meals - Suitable for Vegetarians - Airtight Pet Jar - Shan Mixed Pickle 35.27 oz (1000g) - Spicy Vegetables Pickled in Oil - Rich Blends of Spices - Perfect Accompaniment to Everyday Meals - Suitable for Vegetarians - Airtight Pet Jar --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/82009873-shan-lemon-pickle-35-27-oz-1000g-hot-and-spicy](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/82009873-shan-lemon-pickle-35-27-oz-1000g-hot-and-spicy) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
