Will this work?** A: Yes. We use it all the time for Dungeness crab, stone crab as well as tiger prawns, etc. 1 box is for 12 cups water. That’s great if you’re doing many large crab, but for 1-1.5 lb of shrimp we use 6 cups water and 3oz crab boil, ½ bag. We modify recipe on side of box by adding 1 bunch of fresh thyme + 1 tsp chili pepper flakes. There’s also a liquid form, but the dry never goes bad.
