The Silverback NXT features a powder-coated steel pole and a revolutionary installation design. The NXT uses stability-strength technology to directly install the pole into the ground and secure with concrete inside the pole for increased stability and ultimate strength. The 54" w x 33" H Infinity Edge backboard has edges that wrap around to the back of the backboard as one continuous material for increased rigidity. The Silverback NXT's quick-play design makes assembly as quick and easy as possible. The basketball hoop comes partially assembled with attached hardware and a Pro-Style breakaway rim allowing you to assemble your goal in less time than competitors. The spring-activated rim flexes under pressure, similar to professional-style rims. The breakaway rim also protects the backboard and prevents player injuries. Using an all-steel crank actuator, The basketball hoop is adjusted from the NBA and NCAA regulation rim height of 10 feet to the safety-approved 7. 5 feet. This product is backed by a 5-Year limited . The NXT is not compatible with the Silverback yard guard or Silverback anchor kit. No anchor kit required.

**Q: If we wanted to use a sleeve in the concrete to insert the pole into, what size sleeve would we need to get?**
A: The use of a sleeve is not recommended.

**Q: What kind of concrete do you use?**
A: We used the concrete that dries in 30 minutes and it worked great. We just poured a bag of concrete in the hole, added water and stirred, and then added the next bag. Our hole may have been a little large but we used 13 bags.

**Q: How thick is the acrylic?**
A: Thick like a brick or like a woman 35 lbs over her normal body weight wearing a corduroy pant per se…

**Q: I have an existing 3 inch diameter pole in the ground.  can the silverback nxt mounting mechanism be adapted to allow use of the existing pole?**
A: That's what I did but, my existing pole was 4 inch diameter. Had to modify some of the hardare. Three inch pole should work great. Love the finished setup and so do my grandsons.
