Alas, I see fc-3 on amazon.com. I was sold when it came with a light-gun controller. I've tried a game for each system and they work great. The only drawback is that you need an old style TV for the light gun because it will not work on a plasma or LCD TV. In conclusion, the fc-3 is enjoyable and will bring the kid out in you.It is also simple to hook up. Highly recommended! ### ⭐⭐ Poor quality, atrocious button mapping *by R***R on Reviewed in the United States on December 19, 2009* I was extremely excited about the potential of this product, but I came away supremely disappointed by some of the shoddy execution.The first problem -- the AC adapter that came in the box didn't work. Luckily I already have a working FC Twin (a far superior product, by the way), and that AC adapter filled in nicely.However, the big problem with this system is the button mapping for NES and SNES games. If you ever owned these systems and games in the past (and, let's face it, the majority of people interested in something like this probably did), the controls are mutilated beyond belief. Why? The A and B buttons are in the Sega Genesis order on the controller, which is the exact opposite of the Nintendo controllers.You would have thought the creators might have thought about this problem, perhaps naming the buttons 1,2,3,etc. and just having a sheet that explains "for Genesis games, 1=a, 2=b, and for Nintendo games 1=b, 2=a". So easy, and it makes sense. Anyone who has ever played games before knows this is the only option. The only one.You simply can't screw something like this up.
