I have had $500 Zoom whitening performed on my teeth in the past. I did not have grand expectations for this item, being a use at home product - but I was a little surprised. The product worked as claimed - upon first use it whitened my teeth by about 3 shades - no sensitivity. What they may not explain well in the description is that the ultraviolet light device has a fairly short cord and will require your OWN power/charge unit to make it functional. Luckily I had recently purchased some fast charging high output chargers and used one of those. I kept the mouthpiece in for longer than the recommended 30 minutes - perhaps 45. I had taken before and after pictures with the color chart provided by the kit. It whitened the teeth about 3 shades on their chart. I believe that further whitening can be done in a couple of follow-up sessions over the course of a couple of weeks. I would not recommend back to back sessions - give the enamel some time to recover. I am not a smoker no never was, but I do drink coffee. My teeth were fairly white (off white really) before I used the product. They are noticeably whiter now. I plan on using the product again soon to see if I gain, once again a noticeable increase in brightness. I will amend this review after that session. For the price, and the ease - I would definitely recommend this item as it does produce results.
