Review: Just a great cutting set of hats for the price. - Sabian has hit the jackpot with these hihats. The low price and sound quality will leave you wondering why you pay upward of £250 for some AAX cymbals. They may not have the fullest of tonal spectrums compared to other Sabian b20 lines but put these in the context of music and you won't even notice. The x-celerator hats have a clearly defined bright and cutting sound when pedaled. Closed tight these cymbals have a great clear sound all the way to a nice rocking slush when half-open. These are possibly my favorite cymbals in the XSR range.

Sabian has hit the jackpot with these hihats. The low price and sound quality will leave you wondering why you pay upward of £250 for some AAX cymbals. These Hi-hat cymbals are amazing . They sound incredible compared to my old set of B8's. The scalloping on the lower half lets the air out quicker, and reduces the need to angle the lower cymbal with the stand set screw. They sound as good, if not better than a very high end set I had and foolishly got rid of years ago. (Drumming since 1964)
