## Questions & Answers

**Q: what about shower seats**
A: The ones I got were only 8" x 14" so you'd have to have a pretty narrow rear end to fit into that! Regardless, I don't think that they would be structurally suitable for a seat. I'd be afraid of it flexing enough to crack grout joints. Works great for our soap and shampoo though--much faster than framing in a niche.

**Q: If I am using 2x2 mosaic tiles in the back of the niche, will I have problems with the back flexing (since it does not reach the drywall)?**
A: I've had no issues with flexing with mosaics. Once installed these are just as stiff, if not more, than cement backer board. No worries. They work great!

**Q: do I need special thinset to stick tiles to this niche?**
A: premium modified thinset mortar.

**Q: Will this depth fit inside a 2 x 4 wall, which is only 3.5" deep?**
A: Yes, it fits inside the 2" X 4" (actually 1.5" X 3.5 ") studs.
