A: I have only used it to keep food hot and it stays for 6 hrs is the longest I had used it for  I would assume it keeps food cold for that long.  On the reviews it states up to 8 hours although I have never used it for that long.

A: You can get the plastic 20oz inserts direct from the Thermos factory via phone. $5.00 each plus shipping.

**Q: I just bought since I love it.. but wondering how big it’s for food how good also and scared about the magnet how to manage that..??is it a dangerous?**
A: It's very big, and around 1500ml. It's suitable for a family. The top of it is big enough to be cleaned well.
