I leave the top one buckled and slide it on over my head takes a little work, but not a big deal would be very hard to buckle while you’re wearing it. I very seldom buckle, the lower one, as I don’t need to buckle it, it stays in front of me very well without it being buckled so far. It did find that it came a little damp, which I expected with leather no overwhelming odor as others have stated it did leave a lot of fuzz on my clothes after I first used it, but blowing off with compressed air and the vacuum to it seem to fix that problem. For the price it is an extremely good value, and I would definitely recommend and buy again I love the open back as it will help with air circulation on hotter days. Review: Heavy Great product!! Elastic bands in the back seem a bit flimsy but those are pretty easy to replace if they go bad and not really an issue at this price point IMO Only thing I would note is that the sizing runs VERY small. I wear a size medium t-shirt and the X-large apron fits me like it was tailored.
