Review: Good battery life. - Nice set. Works as intended. Its not skin close like regular shave but close enough. Has held a charge a long time, but I dont use it daily.
Review: Excellent Back Groomer - Absolutely the best groomer I've had. Tried another brand of back groomer that was larger and got decent reviews but it was terrible. Ripped every hair painfully out. I switched to this Norelco and total difference. I should have gone with this one from the beginning. Smooth body shaving and I don't even feel it. Sharp blades good quality build. Highly recommend.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this shaver work well in the ball area. I want a nice smooth finish. Is that possible?**
A: Yes, works well if you are careful and pull skin so it is straight/tight before shaving it. Can't just go at the loose wrinkled stuff and expect not to get nicked. However, this is the safest tool I've found for the whole groin area. Baby powder does help and reduces stickiness especially if the area is damp. Powder won't hurt the shaver, talc is measured in microns.

**Q: Has anyone tried shaving the toothless bad boy with this?? Is it good? Asking for a cousin...**
A: It works fine. You would have to shave very aggressively to harm yourself. The previous models would cut you.

**Q: Are there any significant differences between this model and the philips norelco bodygroom series 3500? is it worth the extra $ 30?**
A: It depends on where you want to use this groomer? On your back or on your private part? Are you also want to use it for trimming body hairs on armpits/arms/legs? If you only focus on the hairs on your back, consider series 3500. If you want to trim/shave the hairs on your private part, then I will highly recommend series 7000. Getting a quick and smooth trim/shave on your private part without getting nicks and cuts is much worth than $30.

**Q: So this is a newer version of the Bodygroom Series 7100? What's the difference?**
A: Hello! A side-by-side comparison of those two particular units can be viewed here: https://www.usa.philips.com/etc/philips/b2c/compareproducts.html?locale=en_US&catalog=CONSUMER&ctn=BG7030/49,BG2040/34

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Back Groomer
*by B***N on September 9, 2026*

Absolutely the best groomer I've had. Tried another brand of back groomer that was larger and got decent reviews but it was terrible. Ripped every hair painfully out. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Light and Easy to Handle
*by M***A on September 25, 2026*

Lightweight, easy to handle, long-lasting battery, the light is useless, I like the trimmer not the metal band, and it does its job nicely.
