They’re not like jawbreakers. If you’ve had Rock Candy Crystals, like the ones in candy buffets on sticks, they’re that crunchy, but disintegrate/dissolve quickly. These are my favorite rock candy definitely. **Q: what flavors are there?** A: A high quality konpeito has slight flavor. There are some that are plain. There seems to be Ramune, melon/honeydew, something slightly floral/tropical - not lychee, strawberry, pineapple, and plain rock candy. Whichever one you get is good. I haven't found any banana, just pineapple for the yellow colored ones. **Q: Are these vegan friendly?** A: Yes. U.S. is the main country known for using bone char in processing sugar. Europe and other countries are differnt when it comes to food. They don't allow artificial colors like the us does either.
