I woke up with severe lower back pain on Tuesday. I had non stop spasms. It feels like a charlie horse in my back causing moments of paralysis. Super painful.I went the ER and was prescribed all kinds of pills. I am not a fan or taking meds, so I have been looking for an alternative. I tried a Lidoderm patch yesterday and it did absolutely nothing for me. Then I tried a Salon Pas patch last night and still no relief. I received the Black Ice Patch this morning and applied it at 8:41am..I felt nothing. I was thinking, "Oh great! I just wasted my money." But after 10-15 minutes, I started to feel something. It has been just a little over an hour and this patch feels SOOO amazing! Pain is being alleviated. I am so happy right now! I will report back later and let you know how long it lasts.I am giving 4 stars for now... But that might change for better or worse .***UPDATE*** from 4stars to 5i wore the patch all day and my back felt so good that i took a little walk that afternoon. The day before I was using a walker because I was in so much pain. Wore it overnight and was able to take a 1 mile walk the following morning and work all day. I logged over 13k steps that day painfree. I applied a new patch on Sunday, wore it all day and even felt better. I swear by this patch and have told everyone about it.PRO TIP*** Wipe down your skin with rubbing alcohol before applying the patch. It removes any oils and residue on your skin. This will allow the patch to adhere much longer. Also after application, rub the entire patch to ensure it is fully adhered to your skin. My patches never came off and I wore one for 48 hours and the other one for 24 hours. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ These guys thought of everything! *by R***K on September 14, 2018* My wife and I JUST had a baby. We also have a VERY active toddler at home. By the time we brought the baby home, the uncomfortable hospital beds and sleepless nights had taken their toll. Our bodies were WRECKED. My wife didn't want to take unnecessary pain medications since she's breastfeeding our baby, so I took to Amazon to find relief. I was a little worried that the patches might be smaller than what I wanted, but once I opened the outer box, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the pouch was not only folded to save space, but it was a RESEALABLE foil pouch! The corners are rounded so they don't catch on clothes and roll up like some other patches I've tried. See? I was able to run around and take the toddler to the park after days of not being able to turn my head! They would fall off right away. I would tape over them and they still came off. They did help with pain a few hours after putting them on though. They also have what looks to be fiberglass that falls off the patch and makes you itch.
