And one more thing: I believe this rod was a return as there was a "gummy" spot where a label had once been affixed. However, I have experienced a frustrating issue with my second replacement rod, the "SES90MLMF2." Unfortunately, while loading the cast with my usual 1/2oz jig head and Keitech swim bait, which falls within the recommended weight category, the rod snapped once again. (see attached photos of both rods) This is now the second replacement rod that has broken in the same area during the cast loading process. It's worth mentioning that I have used or continue to use many other surf rod brands without encountering this problem.
