These are infinitely superior to the slices in jars you get from the supermarket. On opening the can, was a bit nonplussed that there were bits of carrots swimming with the jalapenos, but I trust there's some reason for it, like it helps with the marinade or something. Certainly the peppers themselves are great: a bit spicy, plump but not filled with brine, and very tasty.
