These are very well made and are a solid sturdy clamp. Some of the cheaper ones bend and split over time and have a cheap feel to them. These have been used every day for nearly a year and still look like new. The only thing that has happened is the rubber handle slipped off the metal but I soon glued it back on and it’s not moved since. I bought a metric sized one do they come in us standard size i have not been able to find any that are as good of quality for standard sizes **Q: Can it pick up a single 6”x8” paver** A: It should be able to! **Q: Can you use it for 18x18 inch patio paver?** A: I've used mine to lift and move several hundred 16" x 16" x 2" (40lbs) patio stones in the last week... not one came loose. It was at the factory setting for "15.75" as shown in the ad. Other than that it is a strong well made bit of kit.
