I put it together in around 25 minutes it was really simple to assemble. If you know the basics of using a tool screwdriver into wood, piece of cake. Haven’t put any books in it yet but seems spacious-ish, for a basket in comparison to most traditional bookshelves, I think it was worth the price I paid. Lightweight without books. I wish there was more space. We have over 50 children’s books, and not all of them will fit, which is understandable.
