Price was the same here & other sites so I at least got free, fast shipping on desertcart. Definitely a professional level training device. Balls do come out fast, but you can adjust speeds & types of pitches. It has switches in the back that you toggle up or down to produce a different pitch or speed. That's a little hard to figure out at first. You also need to figure out the proper distance, that can also be a little tricky & you need a long extension cord. I think it has a battery but haven't tried it yet. It is pretty consistent once you get it going. and it has a warning light to let you know when a pitch is coming. that is helpful. Only problem is picking up all the balls after you hit or miss. Definitely a back workout. Its a great tool to help with contact and reaction time. I would recommend it for serious baseball players.

Much more economical version of the brand name green one. If you ever wanted it but couldn’t afford it this is the route to go. Has enough features to build young ball players. Can go anywhere. And it could be setup in a basement, garage, even a large living room and work fine. It seems well built however it needs to be handled properly to last over time. Don’t just use it for hitting. Work on catching with it. Barehanded or with a finger glove. Great for catcher drills behind the plate too. Wish I had bought one years ago.
