Well suited dressing for the inner or outer area of the forearm; can be used on a portion of the leg or to wrap a foot. Gel-soaked, medical-grade non-woven material. Sterile. Foil packed. Shelf Life: 5 years. NEW FORMULA This Water-Jel product contains a new and improved gel formula in response to feedback from various emergency departments. The new gel is clear (instead of opaque) which allows emergency department staff to see what is happening to the burn site without removing the gel. It is no longer scented with tea tree oil, this is for ease of use in the emergency room as well as being less detectable in military applications. The change in formula has not affected the consistency of the gel, it won’t stick to the surface of a burn injury, which means it does not have to be aggressively removed. Hyaluronic acid and Mikrokill have been added to modulate inflammatory response and to to help protect the wound from infection, respectively. Review: Sorry, pointless review - It's difficult to review a product ordered to stock a more complete first aid kit. I haven't used the burn dressings, which is good for me and my family, but it doesn't make for a good review. The price was the best I could find. Delivery was prompt. The dressings are a nice, flat package for stowing in a first aid kit. We have bonfires in our yard periodically, and having these on hand is a wise precaution. Hopefully, I will never get the opportunity to do a more thorough review.

It's difficult to review a product ordered to stock a more complete first aid kit. I haven't used the burn dressings, which is good for me and my family, but it doesn't make for a good review. The price was the best I could find. Delivery was prompt. The dressings are a nice, flat package for stowing in a first aid kit. We have bonfires in our yard periodically, and having these on hand is a wise precaution. Hopefully, I will never get the opportunity to do a more thorough review.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked Great on a serious rope burn

While hoisting a dinghy into place, my son suffered a major rope burn, loosing several layers of skin off the entire palm of one hand. We immediately applied this item and sought medical attention. As a result of using this dressing, my son suffered no infection and very little pain. The medical staff was so impressed with the result, they began to stock this item in the ER for their own use.
