You get your money back the first year in not having to buy chemicals. We put ours up the first week in May and haven't had to add a thing to our water and it is crystal clear still. Absolutely will never go back to a chemical pool **Q: Can this pool be kept up all year around?** A: We are in central Ohio. We do not drain, only remove the filter and saltwater system. We store it inside and cover the pool with a mesh winter cover. We take the cover off in the spring and it is crystal clear. **Q: Can a deck be built around this pool?** A: yes we have a deck built around ours **Q: what is the dimension's of protective canopy for shade? does anyone have picture of it?** A: It covers about 1/3rd of the pool I can’t upload a pic for some reason.
