## Features

- CIGS technology: copper indium gallium selenide (CIGS) is a thin-layer solar cell technology. Unlike silicon-based solar cells, the CIGS thin layer solar cells are more flexible, stable, durable, light-sensitive and have a much longer service life. Therefore, investing in CIGS can offer you more security and long-term benefits
- 360° really flexible: Equipped with thin-layer solar cells, the flexible CIGS solar panel from BougeRV achieves a real 360 degree bending ability. Thus, it achieves a wider application than the crystalline semi-flexible solar panel or rigid solar panels on motorhomes, ships, yachts, bungalows, roofs or other curved and irregular surfaces
- More stable output: thanks to the wire-intensive CIGS technology, the flexible CIGS solar panel from BougeRV is more stable than the monocrystalline solar panel. It can collect more energy when it is partially in the shade or in low light conditions
- Lightweight and easy installation: BougeRV CIGS solar panel is very easy to carry and weighs only 3.2 kg (7.05 lbs), are on average 70% lighter and 95% thinner than rigid Mono solar panel. This solar panel has adhesive tape on the back, it can be easily and safely installed where you need it without drilling holes or brackets. It is also easy to carry.
- IP68 waterproof: This ETFE-coated flexible solar panel is IP68 waterproof and improves the drainage of rainwater to reduce the influence of partial shade. The connections and the junction box are also IP68 waterproof. Therefore, it can work well in a wet outdoor environment.
- *To maximize the performance of CIGS solar panels, please use them with an MPPT solar charge controller.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What surfaces can the adhesive-backed version be installed on?**
A: Install on smooth, flat metal/plastic only. Avoid porous, rough, oily, textured, dusty/damp, and inflatable roofs. Ensure the surface is clean before installation

**Q: Why seal the windward edges?**
A: Sealing wind edges reduces wind resistance and fuel consumption on motorhomes; on boats, it prevents salt spray/seawater corrosion, extending lifespan

**Q: Why can't solar panels provide full output energy?**
A: Output is limited by sunlight, controller efficiency (PWM 75%, MPPT >90%), power station PV input limits... Check your station's voltage/current specs before connecting

**Q: Can this panel be used with a 24-volt system?**
A: A single CIGS solar panel is only suitable for a 12V system, but if two or more panels are connected in series, they can be used in a 24V system

**Q: What is the max series fuse rating and size for parallel panels?**
A: The fuse rating of a single panel is 10A. The fuse rating of N panels connected in parallel needs to be N times 10A

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Top Solar für Wohnmobile
*by A***D on 4 April 2025*
