Thank you! :o)** A: Personally, while the Scholar line IS harder than the Premier line, they're still softer than most other colored pencils. The colors are very similar to the Premier line, too, with the exception of Violet. The Violet in the Scholar line is much, much lighter than the Premier violet. When I first got into colored pencils, I wanted the Prismacolor Premier, but I wasn't sure I'd like them. I got the Scholars first, and they were so soft and buttery that I couldn't imagine anything being any better. The Premier is better, of course, but if you're getting into colored pencil art or even adult coloring books, these are amazing pencils for the price. In fact, I have the full set of 150 Prismacolor Premier, and I just ordered another Scholar 60-set. I use them in my coloring books a lot to save my more expensive ones! **Q: What colors come in the set?** A: Can I order a set of green shades? **Q: Would these be good for learning how to blend?** A: Yes! I've had great success using these to blend! They're perfect for it! **Q: What is the difference between scholar and premier?** A: I do not have an answer for the difference, just to say that one of the other answers is incorrect.
