That is 15%, 20%, and 12% smaller than advertised at the top of the Amazon page (further down on the page under "Product description" the dimensions are listed at 8 3/4 x 4 1/2 x 1. That is still incorrect.) I bought four of these to replace the ones I've been using for years because I needed a larger container. These turned out to be exactly the same size as the old ones, so I'm right back where I started. **Q: Can a container be removed from the tray?** A: Yes, both Sat.-Sun. morning and evening containers can be removed from the tray which holds them both. I was using two before and still couldn't get everything in because on top of my assortment of blood pressure and cholesterol pills and daily vitamins I also take a variety of supplements. I saw a few complaints thst it is too big for travel but I couldn't be happier with the larger size and I think it could still be packed pretty easily for travel. But it fits everything, including 3 pretty large gel capsules and 3 large supplements with room to spare. I literally have like 15 pills in the morning slots with 6 I couldn't fit into either of my old dispensers. And it was cheaper than either one of those and much sturdier. I don't how they pulled it off for it being this big with morning and afternoon slots and this well made but I felt compelled to do a review. Not to be morbid but my father recently died and he stopped taking his heart medication and it's so stupid but apparently he didn't feel like going to the doctor to get a refill and had trouble fitting all his pills in his dispenser. At least that's the excuse he gave my mother for why he didn't bother with it.
